Small applications and add-ons
This page provides lists some of our smaller utilities. Some are intended to enhance the functionality of our main products, whilst others are stand-alone applications.
They are all free to download, and may require you to have a certain application installed on your computer in order for them to work properly.

Requires: Microsoft VB6 Run-time CodeBack provides the ability to take 'snapshots' of your code so you can make alterations and experiment with your codebase without compromising the consistency of your application. A simple versioning system based on application build number can be incremented, to separate each build into incremental backups. Comments can be added to each snapshot, which help you remember the changes in each backup before you roll-back. CodeBack supports multiple application profiles, each with their own backup and 'Current' (i.e. development) directory, which can be switched-between at ease.

Requires: Nexus Network Manager xStore is a distributed storage cluster built on our XPN technology. xStore nodes link together via an intelligent-routing peer-to-peer networking topology, securely distributing the contents of a directory or drive amongst the storage peers. This creates greatly increased reliability through data duplication and redundancy, as no data becomes unavailable until all the nodes drop out of the cluster. As with other XPN-enabled applications, xStore nodes can be configured and managed centrally from Nexus Network Manager. NOTE: xStore is very early in the development cycle and should NOT be used in production environments. Until testing is complete and a full version of the software is released, please treat this application as pre-release software.

Requires: Microsoft VB6 Run-time and Free Account with DynDNS.org The DynDNS Client is a stand-alone version of the Dynamic DNS update client featured in Neptune Web Server. It is very basic, and supports only updating of the domain's IP address, with a local check every 30 seconds. The client can determine your local or internet-facing IP address (via an external proxy), and avoids abusive updates by only sending an update request after 21 days of the same IP address. NOTE: The DynDNS Client requires an account with DynDNS.org (free)

| Personal Data Manager Available Now |

Silver Forge's Personal Data Manger is an easy way for you to keep track of your contacts by entering their personal information which is stored on your computer. It also allows you to customise the labels of the fields, for example changing the 'Other' telephone field to read "Mobile 2" or "Work Phone." PDM will be fully integrated into Equinox Shell allowing you to launch conversations with contacts using iChat, or e-mail directly from your desktop. PDM's extremely flexible architecture means it can be implemented in many of our forthcoming projects. It's available as a free download below.

Requires: Equinox Shell Silver Forge Skin Builder is a utility that allows you to create skins to customise the appearance of an application based on a certain theme. Adding and editing properties is simple using the simple editor utility, and when you've created your custom skin, Skin Builder will compile it into a freely-distributable STUF package, for use with skinnable Silver Forge applications. You can submit your skins created with Skin Builder to us for review, and if we like them, we'll post them on our website for download.
