By default, the Welcome Window appears when you start Equinox. Its purpose is to provide access to common features and recently-used files and programs to help you continue right where you left-off last time you exited.

The Skin Manager enables you to download new skins for Equinox. Accessible via clicking the "Get Skins" link in the Options window, a list of available themes is displayed with a short description.
