Updating DeskPro is easy; using the bundled configuration utility 'DPConfig', patching via the Internet is simple. In DPConfig, click 'check for updates', the application connects to the Internet and downloads the latest patch if required, in a STUF Package, which is extracted by DPConfig. The next step is to click 'Patch DeskPro to latest version' which extracts all the files required, then re-launches the updated version of DeskPro, with no reboot required. Using DeskPro as your shell is also easy. Using DPConfig just one click is required to switch between DeskPro and the default Windows' shell. The next time you restart, the shell you chose is launched.
